Samsung intends to re-enter the tablet market again. At its Galaxy Unpacked event on February 9, Samsung will introduce three new models: the Galaxy Tab S8, Galaxy Tab S8+, and Tab S8 Ultra. The features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 family, whose introduction date is approaching, became apparent as well.
After a few quiet months, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 leaks have picked up, and it’s starting to sound like one of the best Android tablets we’ve seen – or should we say ‘they’ have seen, as it sounds like there will be a Plus, Ultra, and possibly Lite version of the slate as well.
These tablets could be competitors to Apple’s top iPad Pro slates, particularly the Plus and Ultra models, which have larger screens and faster processors – that is, if the rumors about all the specs are true. Let’s take a look at what these features are…
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features
In the series of three models, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8 Plus share some features. The standard Tab S8 comes with an 11-inch screen size and S Pen support. The tablet, which will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor, has 8.0000 mAh battery support. The Galaxy Tab S8 will provide 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The tablet, which has a 13 Megapixel main and 12 Megapixel secondary camera as a camera, will have a 12 Megapixel selfie camera.
Technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Plus
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 Plus will have a 12.4-inch screen size. The device, which has a battery capacity of 10,090 mAh, will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor. The tablet, which also has a 13 Megapixel main and 6 Megapixel secondary camera, will also have a 12 Megapixel selfie camera. As with the standard model, the product will also support S Pen.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra technical specifications
With its technical features and design, Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be the best of the new family. Based on its hardware and screen, the smart device will rival the MacBook Pro. The tablet, with its thin bezel and notched design, has a 14.6-inch screen size and 120Hz screen refresh rate. The product with a Super AMOLED screen provides 16 GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The battery support of the tablet will be at the level of 11,200 mAh.
According to rumor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 will be released in early 2022. That fits with a more recent rumor that the range would be released alongside the Samsung Galaxy S22, which we’re expecting in February – especially now that Samsung has confirmed it will hold an Unpacked event during that month. Another source has now confirmed this.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 began at $649.99 / £619 / AU$1,149, while the Galaxy Tab S7 Plus began at $849.99 / £799 / AU$1,549, implying that prices for the next model will be similar. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 range, on the other hand, may cost more, given the current trend of rising prices.
