Game of Thrones started a fantastic adventure that influenced almost the whole world from the day it entered our lives in 2011 until the final episode. Then, HBO took an ambitious step and announced that it had started the preparations for a new adventure called House of the Dragon.
As passionate fans will know, the Game of Thrones universe returns with the new series ‘House of the Dragon’, which focuses on the times of the Targaryen Dynasty on the Iron Throne, 200 years before the events of the series. The 10-episode HBO series will tell the story of the events that dragged the Targaryens who rule Westeros into a civil war, also known as the ‘Dance of the Dragons’. Moreover, there will be more than a dozen dragons in it.
In the meantime, and after the presentation made at the end of October, some visuals were shared for House of the Dragon. With these visuals, we got the chance to take a closer look at the characters and places.
But HBO kept the show’s release date a big secret. Of course, due to the global expansion movement planned by the company in the coming summer months, a large portion of them claimed that it will be published towards the end of the summer months. As a matter of fact, today we see that this prediction turned out to be correct. HBO made a post announcing that it will be released on August 21.
With the posters it published on its official Twitter page, HBO announced that the date that House of the Dragon will meet its fans is August 21, 2022. In addition, plenty of new visuals have been released from the series, which includes names such as Matt Smith, Paddy Considine, Emmy D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Olivia Cooke and Fabien Frankel.
