Back in 2020, Netflix announced that, in the series where there will be two different time periods, the lives of brothers named Jade and Bille Wesker will be told. In the first, the 14-year-old duo moves to New Racoon City, and in the second, the struggle for survival of Jade and others in the world fighting the zombie invasion caused by the ‘T’ virus years later. Netflix’s statement about what will happen in the series is as follows;
“The year is 2036, 14 years after the virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by bloodthirsty creatures. Meanwhile, Jade is haunted by her past in New Racoon City, her father’s chilling connections with the Umbrella Corporation, and what happened to her sister Billie.”
The Resident Evil series drops on Netflix on July 14.
